Jack and the Green Visitor Jack loved looking at the stars.
He often dreamed that one day, someone from another planet would come and say hello.
One quiet night, a flash of light crossed the sky.
A small round ship landed behind the trees.
Jack ran closer and saw a creature with shiny green skin and big golden eyes.
“Don’t be afraid,” Jack said softly.
The creature tilted his head. “I’m not afraid. My name is Zogo.”
Jack blinked. “You can talk?”
Zogo smiled. “Of course! My translator works fine. I came to learn about Earth.”
They sat together in the grass.
Jack showed Zogo the moon, the stars, and the fireflies.
Zogo touched one carefully. “Tiny lights that fly… amazing!”
Then he pulled out a glowing cube.
“This shows my home,” he said. “A blue world with silver trees.”
Jack looked into the cube.
“It’s beautiful,” he whispered. “Can I visit one day?”
Zogo nodded. “Maybe. But first, friends share, right?”
They traded gifts—Jack gave his favorite marble, and Zogo left the glowing cube.
As the sun began to rise, Zogo climbed into his ship.
“I’ll be back when your marble glows,” he said.
Jack waved as the ship lifted off.
He looked at the cube and smiled.
For the first time, the stars didn’t feel far away.
Because now, somewhere out there, he had a friend.
