Barnaby the Humming Giant
A heartwarming tale about Barnaby, a giant who loves to hum and has a special connection with his pet cloud. When his cloud stops raining, Barnaby discovers that even big clouds sometimes need a little encouragement and a gentle tickle to bring back the fun.
Barnaby the giant always hummed. *Hummm-hummm-hummm.* His favorite cloud floated above. It rained soft rain. *Pitter-patter.*
But one day, no rain fell. Barnaby stopped his hum. He squinted. "Cloud, are you sleepy?" he boomed.
The cloud stayed gray. Not a drop. Barnaby frowned. He reached up a huge finger. *Boop!* He gently poked the cloud.
It jiggled a little. Still no rain. "Oh dear," Barnaby mumbled. He saw a tiny, dry puddle. His very own puddle! It was sad and empty.
*Hummm-hummm-hummm*. Barnaby hummed a little louder. He patted the cloud. *Pat-pat-pat.* A tiny drop landed! Then another! *Plink! Plonk!*
Barnaby grinned. He hummed his happiest hum. He tickled the cloud's fluffy side. "More, more!" he chuckled. The cloud rumbled. *RUMBLE-RUMBLE!* Rain poured out!
His puddle filled up. *Splish-splash!* Barnaby laughed.
"Even big clouds need a little tickle!" And he hummed all the way home.
