Pip the Pencil and the Cosmic Smudge
Pip the pencil discovers a mysterious smudge on his star drawing, which only grows bigger the more he tries to erase it. With the help of his clever friend Pro the protractor, Pip learns a charming lesson about tired numbers and unexpected solutions to big problems.
Pip the pencil saw a BIG smudge. It was on his star drawing! A tiny number must have tripped. Oh no! A cosmic crash! Pip’s heart thumped.
He grabbed his eraser. Scrub, scrub, scrub! The smudge grew. It spread like a dark cloud.
“More fallen number dust!” Pip cried. He scrubbed harder. The smudge grew again. It was a giant storm now! Pip gasped.
He knew what to do. He found his friend. It was Pro. Pro was a protractor. "Help!" Pip squeaked. "Numbers are everywhere!"
Pro chuckled. He took Pip's eraser. Rub, rub, rub! The smudge got lighter. It just went away.
"See?" Pro smiled. "Numbers just get tired." Pip blinked. "So they just get smudged? Not jiggy?"
Pro nodded. Pip laughed. No cosmic crash today!
