Red ball, red ball, where did you go? Anni loved counting, she loved it so!

One shiny button, then two bright beads, She followed the trail, planting small seeds.

Three yellow feathers, light as a breeze, Then four green marbles, under the trees.

Her heart beat fast, a tiny drum, Her red ball was waiting, it had to come!

Five purple ribbons, a wiggly line, Then six blue sequins, oh so fine!

She looked and she looked, with eyes so keen, No red ball yet, what could it mean?

Then seven orange blocks, a tower so tall, Behind them, her red ball, standing proud and small!

She hugged her red ball, happy and bright, Counting was fun, and felt just right.

But a friend smiled big, and gave a cheer, Some things are best, when friends are near.

No need to count, a happy sound, Friendship's a treasure, all around!
