With his dad’s guidance, he discovers that courage, dreams, and kindness are the light we carry, and challenges are the darkness that tries to stop it. But when we grow our light and use it to help others, we make the world brighter. A gentle reminder for every child to shine.

Courage & ResponsibilityWhen I was little, about six or seven, I loved the light. I didn’t like darkness, no one does. Light made me happy. It made everyone happy.
I thought, what if there was no light anymore? Why is it so special? Why does it make people smile? So I said, “If light makes the world happy, I want to become light, and change the world too!”
That evening, after dinner, I asked my dad, “Daddy, I want to be light, so I can make people happy!” He smiled and said, “That’s a beautiful wish. But guess what? You already have light inside you.” “Really?” I gasped. “Yes,” he said. “And it can shine brighter than the sun.”
What is Light? “Light is fast,” Dad said. “It travels far, reaches people quickly, and makes darkness disappear.” I listened closely. I wanted to know more.
The Light Inside Us “You don’t have to become the sun,” Dad said. “You already are a light. The light in you is your dream, your courage, your kindness.” “When you run, help, create, or make others smile, that’s your light shining.” “Everyone has light,” he said. “But not everyone lets it shine.”
Darkness and Obstacles “But light has an enemy, darkness,” Dad said. “Darkness comes when light is missing. Sometimes fear, doubt, or failure try to block your light.” “If you stop shining, others who need your light might be lost in the dark.” I thought quietly. I didn’t want that to happen.
How to Make Your Light Brighter “The sun starts small in the morning,” Dad said. “But as it rises, it shines stronger. Your light is the same. To make it brighter, fill it with kindness, courage, and love.” “When you help a friend, when you keep going, when you learn something new, your light grows.”
My Promise That night changed my life. I realized, I always wanted to become light, but the light was inside me all along. I hugged my dad and said, “I’ll keep my light shining. I won’t let darkness win.” From that night on, I started small, helping a friend, reading to my sister, learning new things every day. And my light grew brighter.
Now I know: You don’t need to wait to become light. You already are light. So, Shine your light, brighter and stronger every day, and together, we can change the world. Even the smallest light can chase away the biggest darkness. THE END
