Lily’s socks, a crazy sight, No two matched, day or night. Pink and green, a stripe, a dot, Pairs she simply hadn't got.

She held a big one, fire truck red, “Teddy, find a friend instead!” Teddy stared with button eyes, No small sock met his surprise.

She hugged her bear, then to her car, “Little sock, where are you, far?” Yellow tiny, by the wheel, “This one’s small, how do you feel?”

Her wise old owl, perched up high, Saw her little tear, a sigh. “Big and small,” the owl did hoot, “Every sock needs its new root!”

So Lily sorted, with a cheer, Big socks here and small socks near. Each one found a partner bright, Even if they weren't just right.

Her feet were happy, quite a show, Crazy socks from top to toe!
