Mina, a little girl left alone in a dark theater, discovers a friendly stage light named Lumi. Lumi transforms the stage with colorful beams, turning the dark into a magical place for Mina to dance and play, teaching her that adventure and light can always be found.

Story Details

Mina was a tiny girl left behind in the theater after the curtains closed. There was no one around! "It's so dark..." she whispered.

But then, the big, round lights hanging above began to blink on with a little pop, pop, pop. Red, yellow, blue!

"Hello!" said Mina. "Who are you?" The brightest of the lights glowed with a cheerful tone. Its name was Lumi."

Lumi sent down a huge yellow beam of light. "I am the Stage Light!" The beam spread out right in the middle of the stage like a big, warm hug.

Mina started to dance in that warm light. Her feet went pitter-patter. The dark wasn't scary anymore!

Then, Lumi slowly changed its color. First a deep ocean blue... Then a forest green...

Is this the sea?" asked Mina, pretending to swim in the new blue light. The beam sparkled: "Maybe it's a magical ocean!"

Lumi changed its color one last time. Now, everything was a sweet, bright pink. Just like a giant cotton candy!"

Mina yawned. "The show is over, dear Lumi." She wasn't afraid of the dark at all anymore. Because she knew that somewhere, an adventure light was always shining.
