Nora and the Paper Wings

Nora loved making things out of paper — boats, flowers, even tiny animals. But what she really wanted was to fly.

One windy afternoon, she folded the biggest paper wings she’d ever made. “They’ll never work,” laughed her brother.

Nora didn’t listen. She tied the wings to her arms, ran up the hill, and jumped. The wind lifted her just a little — enough to feel her heart race.

She laughed and twirled as the wings fluttered wildly. She didn’t soar high, but she felt free.

Later, her brother helped her make stronger wings. Together, they ran, jumped, and laughed until the sun went down.

That night, Nora whispered, “Maybe my feet stayed on the ground… but my imagination truly flew.” 🕊️✨
