Natural SciencesSoft morning light slides into Kiki’s burrow. It warms her whiskers. Kiki blinks… then smiles. “Good morning, light.”
Kiki hops up fast. “I love light,” she whispers. “I’m a light-mixer!” Her heart glows like sunrise.
She steps into her tiny “light kitchen.” A whisk. A bowl. Three glowing paints: Red. Blue. Yellow. “The starter lights,” Kiki says.
Dip of red. Dip of yellow. Whisk… whisk… whirl! “Red + yellow makes… orange!”
An Orange Fox jumps out—warm like sunset. “I’m bright and brave!” the Fox says. “My fur glows with courage-light!” Kiki laughs. “Shine with me.”
A quick rinse. Dip of yellow. Dip of blue. Swirl… swirl… swirl. “Yellow + blue makes… green!”
A funny Green Frog hops out—soft like fresh leaves. ‘I help things grow with peaceful light!’ the funny Frog says. ‘My color is from yellow and blue!’ Kiki smiles. ‘Grow with us.’
Dip in blue. Dip in red. Whirl… whirl… whirl! “Blue + red makes… purple!”
A Purple Owl flies out—sparkling like the night sky. “I shine softly with kind light!” the Owl whispers. “Blue and red made me appear!” Kiki hugs the little owl. “Soft light is needed too.”
Orange Fox. Green Frog. Purple Owl. All float around Kiki like tiny glowing lanterns. “Colors mix. Light mixes. Together… we shine brighter.”
A red apron on the wall catches a sunbeam. Blue light from the window slides over it. Kiki gasps. “Look! Red + blue light makes it look… purple!” Light magic — but real.
Kiki and her new light-friends sway as she sings her Light Mixer Song: “Now it’s your turn,” Kiki whispers. “Go and make your own light. Share it with the world.”
