Light Letters ---A Story About Little Lights

Long ago, the world was quiet. There were no colors. No names. Only darkness.

Until one night, a tiny light fell from the sky— L. L glowed softly and whispered, “Light is here.”

A arrived first. Long ago, it looked like a little ox with tiny horns—strong and gentle. The little ox helped the world grow. It pushed the soil to make room for seeds, and nudged the first apples to fall. One apple tumbled down with a soft plop. A little thinker looked up and wondered, “Why did it fall? What makes it move?” A whispered softly,“Curiosity is a kind of light.” And with that apple,a new idea was born— a spark to understand the world. So A brings apples, and tiny sparks of wonder, to ask, to explore, to discover.

B bounced in first, a bright little bubble of light. It bounced softly, leaving tiny glowing sparks. C followed, curving like a crescent moon. Its light curled in the sky, Bathed the clouds and houses. B and C danced together, building homes with light, bringing joy and wonder. The child clapped,“Letters can make magic!”

D drifted in, a glowing pillar of light. It danced among the trees, making shadows disappear and leaves dance too. E sparkled next, escaping the darkness. It painted the sky with early gold, while birds echoed its glow. F floated in, a fluttering ribbon of light. It flew over hills and rivers, fanning the leaves and grass below. Together, D, E, and F played, building forests, enchanting mornings, and filling the world with gentle wind.

G sprouted like a tiny glowing plant. Its green light peeked through the soil. Little insects danced around its glow.

J jumped into the sky like a joyful spark. Its light jiggled and giggled over the hills. The child joined in, playing with tiny glowing sparks.

L leapt from the sky like a little lantern. Its golden light laughed across lakes and hills. The child watched longingly, following its gentle glow.

O shone like a juicy orange in the sun. Its light poured softly over the orchard. The child stretched out a hand, delighted by its warmth.

R rippled like a river of warm, golden light. Its beams danced playfully across rocks and trees. The child ran along, following its joyful path. S slithered like a silver ribbon of light. Its glow sparkled over stones and streams. T twinkled like tiny torches in the sky. Its light brushed treetops and rooftops. The child tiptoed beneath, feeling safe and happy.

U opened like a gentle umbrella of light. Its glow lifted up flowers and hills. The child watched in wonder at its calm magic.

X shined like a tiny spark that crossed the sky. Its beams flickered over rocks and flowers. Y yawned like a yellow morning glow. Its light stretched across fields and hills.

The letters gathered around the child, glowing softly like warm little stars. And then— the child began to glow too. For every letter, every spark of light, lives quietly inside us. They help us name the world… and shine our every own story
