Hello! I am Pip. I am a small acorn. I live high up in a tall tree.

Whoosh! The wind blows me off the tree! It is a fun, fast ride!

Boing! I land on the soft, brown ground. It is warm here.

A friendly ladybug walks by. "Welcome!" she says.

Pitter-patter! Rain comes down. The rain gives me a long, cool drink. Thank you, rain!

Now the warm sun comes out. The sun helps me grow big and strong.

I feel something new! A tiny root pushes down into the soil.

A small green sprout pushes up towards the blue sky. I am starting to grow!

I am not an acorn anymore. Now, I am a very small tree! Hooray!

A busy worm and a fluffy caterpillar come to visit my leaves. We are all friends!
