Mia’s Magic Manners

Mia was excited for a big day at school— but she kept forgetting her manners

At breakfast, she grabbed the cereal quickly. Mom reminded her, “Say please when you ask for something

Later, Mia bumped into her brother. “Oh!” she said. Mom whispered, “Use sorry when accidents happen.”

At school, Mia’s friend shared a sticker with her. Mia smiled and said, “Thank you!” Her friend beamed.

During class, everyone raised their hand. Mia remembered— “Take turns and listen.”

At lunch, she almost talked with her mouth full. She caught herself and giggled. “Chew first, then speak politely,” she said.

On the playground, she saw a new student alone. Mia waved and said, “Come play with us!” Including others felt good.

Mia walked home proudly. “Please, sorry, thank you, listen, be kind…” She smiled. “Manners really are magic!”
