Story Details

The sky is dark blue and gray. Everyone is still sleeping. It is almost morning!

I am Blaze, the brilliant Sun! I am a giant ball of hot, yellow light in the sky.

I slowly rise above the trees to start a brand new, wonderful day!

I give the world warmth and light. My heat chases away the cold night air.

The flowers wake up and open their colorful petals to greet my light.

A little child stands outside and waves hello to me as they start their day.

Sometimes, I hide a little behind the soft, white clouds, playing hide-and-seek.

My heat helps the air move, which makes the wind blow gently across the land.

I make the beach sand warm and perfect for building big sandcastles.

Now I am at the highest point in the sky. This is when I am brightest and strongest!

Time to say goodnight! I sink slowly, making the sky pink, orange, and purple.

I am Blaze, the brilliant Sun. I rest now, ready to shine again and start a new day tomorrow!
