My little hands point to the numbers. It is ten o'clock right now!

I belonged to a kind old man. He carried me in his pocket every single day.

I make a soft, rhythmic tick-tock sound. It is a very comforting noise.

The man would often look at my tiny numbers with a magnifying glass.

The warm sunlight often falls on my shiny gold cover, making me sparkle.

I often sat next to old letters and photos, sharing happy memories of the past.

At night, the man would put me in a soft, velvet pouch to keep me safe.

Now, a little child holds me carefully. They wonder about my long history.

Even though I am old, I still keep perfect time, showing every minute of the day.
