Story Details

Hello! This is Leo the little boy. Leo is looking out his window to see what the weather is doing. He needs to choose the perfect clothes for the day!

It is a beautiful, sunny morning! The sun is hot and bright. For hot weather, Leo wears a T-shirt and Shorts. He needs light clothes to stay cool.

When the sun is very strong, Leo must wear a Hat to cover his head. He also wears Sunglasses to protect his eyes from the bright light.

The weather changes! Now a cool Breeze is blowing. Leo feels a little chilly. He puts on a soft, long-sleeved Sweater to stay warm.

Oh no! Dark clouds cover the sun. Drip, drip, drop! It is starting to Rain! Leo must wear clothes that keep him dry.

To stay dry, Leo puts on a yellow Raincoat and matching Rain Boots. The raincoat keeps the water off his body, and the boots keep his feet from getting wet in the puddles!

Leo carries a Umbrella too! He holds the umbrella over his head. The umbrella is like a little roof to keep the rain away.

Now imagine the weather gets very Cold! It is winter, and Snow is falling! Leo needs many layers of warm clothes.

Leo puts on a Thick Coat, a warm Scarf around his neck, and a cozy Beanie on his head. He also needs warm Gloves for his hands.

For the snow, regular shoes won't work! Leo puts on big, warm Winter Boots to keep his feet dry and cozy when he plays in the snow.

Leo learned that the weather helps him choose his clothes! Hot, cold, or wet—there is always a perfect outfit.

Now Leo is ready for any kind of weather! By checking the sky, he knows exactly what to wear to stay safe and comfortable all day long.
