Story Details

Mia got a new, cool board. It looked so sleek and grand.

She wanted to ride, oh how she yearned, All through the happy land.

Downhill she pointed, with a grin, But slow the board did creep.

Up came a hill, where she hoped to win, And fast the board did leap!

"This board is odd!" Mia cried aloud, With wide and wondering eyes.

No easy path, no drifting cloud, Just uphill, to the skies!

She tried a mound, a gentle slope, The board zoomed up with glee.

She found new strength, she found new hope, For all the world to see.

Then came a hill, so very high, Her legs began to ache.

But up she went, beneath the sky, For effort, for goodness sake!

She learned a truth, so strong and deep, Not all good things come fast.

Uphill she rode, with joyful leap, Her happiest ride, to last!
