Story Details

Hello! This is Leo the adventurous boy. Leo loves animals, and today he’s going on an amazing journey to discover Wild Animals around the world!

First, Leo imagines going to a hot, grassy Savanna. He sees a mighty Lion! Lions are strong cats with a loud roar. They are known as the "King of the Jungle" (even though they live in savannas!).

Nearby, Leo sees a very Tall Giraffe. Giraffes have long necks to reach leaves high up in the trees. They have beautiful spotted coats.

Leo pretends to visit a dense Jungle. He sees a playful Monkey swinging from tree to tree! Monkeys are very clever and use their tails to help them balance.

In the jungle, Leo sees a massive Elephant. Elephants are the largest land animals. They use their long Trunk to drink water and pick up food.

Leo travels to a very cold, icy place – the Arctic. He sees a fluffy Polar Bear! Polar bears have thick white fur to keep them warm and wide paws to walk on snow and ice.

Back in the savanna, Leo spots the Fastest land animal – a Cheetah! Cheetahs have slender bodies and long legs, allowing them to run incredibly fast to catch their prey.

Leo looks at a calm River. He sees a Beaver building a dam with sticks and mud. Beavers are amazing engineers! They use their strong teeth to cut down trees.

Leo imagines visiting Australia. He sees a Kangaroo hopping! Kangaroos have strong back legs and a long tail that helps them jump very far. They carry their babies in a pouch.

Leo sees a long, slithering Snake in the grass. Snakes have no legs, so they move by wiggling their bodies. Some snakes can be very colorful!

Wild animals live in all sorts of places: hot savannas, thick jungles, icy poles, and deep rivers. Each animal has a special home that suits it perfectly.

Leo learned that wild animals are amazing, but they need our protection. We must keep their homes safe and clean so they can live happily.
