Long ago, in a garage in California, lived a young man named Steve.
Steve didn't like things that were clunky, ugly, or hard to use. He looked at the computers of that time—which were giant, grey boxes that only scientists could understand—and had a "What If?" moment.
He wondered, "What if a computer could be as beautiful as a painting and as easy to use as a toaster?" This was his first secret: He was an Artist in a World of Machines.
Steve and his friend, Steve Wozniak, built their first computer in that small garage. They called their company Apple.
Steve believed that the outside of a computer should be just as pretty as the inside. He even studied "Calligraphy"—the art of beautiful handwriting—so he could make sure his computers had the most elegant letters and fonts.
He taught us that Design isn't just how something looks; it’s how it works and feels in your hands.
At that time, if you wanted to tell a computer what to do, you had to type in long, boring codes on a keyboard. But Steve saw a better way. He helped create a computer called the Macintosh that used a "Mouse" and little pictures called Icons.
Instead of typing, you could just point and click! It was like magic. Suddenly, everyone—from grandmothers to little kids—could use a computer to draw, write, and play.
But Steve’s biggest dream was still to come. He looked at the computers sitting on desks and thought, "Why should they stay there? Why can't we take the whole world with us?"
He wanted to build a device that was a phone, a music player, and a computer all in one—and he wanted it to fit right in the palm of your hand.
Many people said it was impossible to put that much power into such a tiny space. But Steve used his second secret: The Reality Distortion Field. This was a fancy way of saying he refused to believe that anything was "impossible."

Steve Jobs wasn't always an easy boss. He was very picky and wanted everything to be perfect. If a tiny screw inside a phone wasn't lined up straight, he would make the engineers start over—even though no one would ever see it!
He believed that Quality matters even when it’s hidden. He wanted every Apple product to be a "Masterpiece."
What was the secret of Steve Jobs? It was his motto: "Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish." This meant he never stopped wanting to learn (Stay Hungry) and he was never afraid to try things that other people thought were crazy (Stay Foolish).
He believed that the people who are "crazy" enough to think they can change the world are the ones who actually do.
