Story Details

Hello! This is Leo. Today, he is at the blue lake with his grandpa. Leo has a special submarine made of a giant glass bottle. He puts on his yellow life jacket and jumps in. Splash! Today is a Deep Water Adventure!

First, Leo looks through the glass. He learns about Clarity. The water is clear like a window. He can see small green plants waving at the bottom. It looks like an underwater forest!

Next, Leo sees a Big Fish. It has shiny silver scales. Leo learns about Swimming. The fish moves its tail left and right to go fast. Leo tries to move his hands like fins to say "Hello!"

Now, Leo finds a Sunken Log. He learns about Hiding. Under the log, he sees a family of baby turtles. They are very shy and have hard shells. Leo stays very quiet so he doesn't scare them.

Suddenly, Leo sees something shiny. It is a Gold Coin! Leo learns about Treasure. He realizes that the bottom of the lake is full of secrets. He wonders if a pirate once lived near this lake!

Leo sees a Green Frog swimming past. He learns about Breath. The frog can swim under the water and hop on the land. Leo watches the tiny bubbles coming from the frog's nose. Blub, blub, blub!

Next, Leo finds a Round Stone. He learns about Texture. The stone is very smooth because the water has rubbed it for a long time. It feels like a piece of soap in his hand.

Suddenly, a Crayfish walks by. It has two big claws! Leo learns about Defense. The crayfish looks like a little robot. Leo knows that he should not touch the claws, so he just watches from his glass boat.

Leo looks up at the surface. He learns about Reflection. He can see the bottom of his grandpa's wooden boat. It looks like a big dark shadow floating in the bright sky.

Now, the water gets a little bit darker. Leo learns about Depth. The deeper he goes, the cooler the water feels. He turns on a small flashlight to see the purple shells on the sandy floor.

Leo finds a Blue Feather floating in the water. He learns about Birds. He realizes that a kingfisher bird must have dropped it while looking for a snack. Everything is connected in nature!

It is time to go back to the top. Leo learns about Rising. He pumps his legs and his glass submarine floats up, up, up! He sees the bright sun and his grandpa's smiling face.

Finally, Leo is back on the grass. He learns about Stories. He tells his grandpa about the silver fish and the shy turtles. He realized that The Lake is a Magic World. If you could dive to the bottom of a lake, would you look for a lost treasure or a secret fish city?
