Now, Mai looks out the window. She learns about Sharing. She sees that the sky is a bit dark. She decides to let some of her stars fly out the window to help the moon light up the garden for the little bunnies.
Suddenly, the stars start to play Music. Mai learns about Sound. Each time a star hits a window pane, it makes a "Ting!" sound. It sounds like a thousand tiny bells playing a sweet lullaby just for her.
Next, Mai uses the stars to make a Magic Path. She learns about Direction. The stars line up on the floor to show her the way to her bookshelf. She finds her favorite book and reads it by the starlight.
Now, Mai feels very Sleepy. She learns about Rest. The stars fly back to her silver box one by one. They turn into soft, glowing dust that makes Mai’s pillow feel extra fluffy and warm.
The moon looks in through the window and smiles. Mai learns about Nature. She realizes that the stars in her box and the stars in the sky are all part of the same big, beautiful universe.
Finally, Mai closes the silver box. She learns about Secrets. She knows that the stars will be there whenever she needs a little bit of magic. bà puts the box safely back under her bed.
Mai’s star adventure is finished. She closes her eyes and falls into a deep, happy sleep. She realized that You can always find light in the dark. If you had a box of stars, would you make a star-cat or a star-castle?
