Hello! This is Kiki. He is a small monkey with a very long tail. Today, Kiki is very sleepy, but he cannot find a soft place to rest. Suddenly, he finds a giant, yellow Banana Pillow. It is soft, fuzzy, and looks like a huge fruit!
First, Kiki hugs the pillow. He learns about Softness. The pillow is made of plush fabric. When Kiki squeezes it, it feels like a warm hug from his mama. Kiki closes his eyes and says, "Ooh-ooh, so cozy!"
Next, Kiki tries to use the pillow as a Boat. He learns about Balance. He sits on top of the yellow banana and pretends he is sailing on a river of milk. He has to stay in the middle so he doesn't tip over into the "River."
Now, Kiki discovers the Pillow’s Secret. He learns about Scent. The pillow smells like sweet, ripe bananas! It makes Kiki’s tummy feel happy. He dreams of a forest where every tree grows yellow pillows instead of leaves.
Suddenly, Kiki hears a Loud Noise. He learns about Safety. Boom! It is just thunder outside. Kiki hides his face behind his big banana pillow. He feels very safe because the pillow is like a soft yellow shield.
Next, Kiki plays Hide-and-Seek. He learns about Hiding. He puts the pillow over his head. "Where is Kiki?" asks his friend, the Parrot. Kiki stays very still. He looks just like a giant banana sitting in the tree!
Now, Kiki uses the pillow as a Slide. He learns about Speed. He puts the pillow on a low branch and slides down: Zippp! It is the smoothest and softest slide in the whole jungle.
Suddenly, it starts to Moonlight. Kiki learns about Glow. The yellow pillow looks like a piece of the moon that fell into his arms. The jungle becomes quiet, and the stars start to twinkle above the trees.
Next, Kiki shares his pillow with a Tiny Bird. He learns about Friendship. The bird is cold, so Kiki lets her sleep on the end of the banana. "There is room for everyone!" chirps Kiki happily.
Now, Kiki feels very Sleepy. He learns about Position. He tries sleeping on his tummy, then his back, and finally, he curls his long tail around the banana pillow. This is the perfect way to sleep!
The wind starts to Sing. Kiki learns about Lullabies. The leaves rustle Shhh-shhh, and the frogs croak softly. Kiki’s banana pillow feels like a soft cloud carrying him away to a land of sweet dreams.
Finally, Kiki falls fast asleep. He learns about Rest. He realized that a busy monkey needs a good sleep to have energy for tomorrow's jumping and climbing. He snuggles closer to his yellow friend.
Kiki’s pillow adventure is finished. He tells the moon, "Thank you for the soft yellow dream!" He realized that A cozy pillow makes the night magical. If you had a funny pillow, would it be shaped like a banana or a big red strawberry?
