Story Details

Hello! This is Na. Today, she is sitting on her garden swing. She looks up at the big, white clouds.

Suddenly, the swing goes Higher and Higher until Na is floating in the sky! She is invited to the Great Cloud Tea Party.

First, Na lands on a Marshmallow Cloud. She learns about Softness. The ground feels like a giant, squishy pillow. Every time Na jumps, she goes Boing! and lands softly. Everything here is white and fluffy.

Next, Na meets Misty the Cloud. She learns about Shapes. Misty can change her body! One minute she looks like a teapot, and the next she looks like a friendly dragon. "Imagination is magic!" says Misty.

Now, Na sees the Rainbow Table. She learns about Colors. The table is made of sunlight and rain. There are cups of "Sunlight Tea" that glow yellow and "Raindrop Juice" that sparkles like blue diamonds.

Suddenly, a Wind Breeze arrives. Na learns about Movement. The wind brings plates of "Cloud Cookies" that are light and airy. Na has to catch them before they float away! "Got one!" cries Na with a laugh.

Next, Na meets a Thunder Cloud. She learns about Feelings. The cloud looks a bit grey and grumpy.

Na shares a "Sunshine Cookie" with him. Suddenly, the cloud smiles and turns bright white again. Kindness makes everyone glow!

Now, they hear a Bird Choir. Na learns about Music. A group of bluebirds perches on the edge of the cloud. They sing a song that sounds like silver bells. Na claps her hands to the rhythm of the sky.

Suddenly, it starts to Sun-shower. Na learns about Sparkle. Tiny drops of rain fall while the sun is still shining. Each drop looks like a falling star. Na catches one in her hand, and it feels cool and sweet.

Next, Na finds the Star Sugar. She learns about Brightness. She puts a tiny glowing star into her tea. The tea starts to sparkle and swirl. "It tastes like dreams and honey!" says Na.

Now, the sun begins to Set. Na learns about Evening. The white clouds turn pink, orange, and purple. The tea party is ending, and the sky is getting ready for the stars to come out and play.

The swing starts to Lower. Na learns about Returning. She says goodbye to Misty and the birds. The marshmallow cloud gives her a soft wave. Na slowly floats back down to her green garden.

Finally, Na is back on her swing. She learns about Wonder. She looks up and sees one tiny pink cloud that looks like a teacup. She realizes that the sky is always full of friends if you just look up.

Na’s cloud adventure is finished. She tells her teddy bear, "I had tea with a dragon cloud today!"

She realized that The best parties are the ones in your dreams. If you went to a cloud tea party, would you eat cloud cookies or drink raindrop juice?
