Mai and the Afternoon Learning About Colorful Emotions Hello! This is Mai. Today, she feels many things at once. She is happy, a little bit sad, and a tiny bit angry. Suddenly, her box of crayons starts to glow! Each color jumps out and turns into a little "Emotion Sprite." Mai is ready to travel through the Rainbow of Feelings.

First, Mai meets Yellow Joy. She learns about Happiness. Yellow Joy is bright like the sun and loves to dance. "I am here when you eat ice cream or see a friend!" says Joy. Mai feels warm and light inside. Yellow is the color of a big, happy smile.

Next, Mai meets Blue Sadness. She learns about Empathy. Blue Sadness is quiet and soft like a rainy day. "It is okay to cry sometimes," says Blue. "It helps your heart feel clean." Mai gives Blue a hug and realizes that being sad is a natural part of life.

Now, Mai meets Red Anger. She learns about Calmness. Red Anger is hot and loud like a fire engine. Stomp, stomp! "I show up when things feel unfair!" says Red. Mai learns to take a big, deep breath to help Red turn into a soft, pink glow.

Suddenly, she meets Green Peace. She learns about Relaxation. Green is as quiet as a forest. "I am here when you take a nap or look at the trees," whispers Green. Mai feels her heart beat slowly and her muscles feel soft. Green helps her feel safe.

Next, Mai sees Purple Surprise. She learns about Wonder. Purple has big eyes and always says "Wow!" It appears when Mai sees a magic trick or a beautiful butterfly. Purple makes the world feel like a big, exciting mystery waiting to be solved.

Now, she meets Orange Bravery. She learns about Confidence. Orange is strong and bright. "I am here when you try something new, like riding a bike!" says Orange. Mai feels strong in her legs and arms. Orange helps her feel like a superhero.

Suddenly, Mai finds Pink Love. She learns about Affection. Pink is warm and smells like flowers. "I am here when you hug your mom or play with Miu Miu," says Pink. Mai realizes that love is the most beautiful color in her whole heart.

Next, Mai sees all the colors Mixing Together. She learns about Complexity. Sometimes she feels "Yellow" and "Orange" at the same time! She learns that it is normal to have many feelings together, like a beautiful, colorful painting.

Now, Mai gets a Magic Mirror. She learns about Self-Awareness. She looks in the mirror and sees which color is shining brightest today. "Today, I am mostly Yellow with a little bit of Green," says Mai. Knowing how she feels makes her feel in control.

The "Emotion Sprites" Return to the Crayon Box. She learns about Balance. Mai knows they are always there to help her. She closes the box and feels very smart. She knows that all feelings—even the "Blue" and "Red" ones—are important.

Then, Mai tells her Dad how she feels. She learns about Expression. "Dad, I feel very Orange today because I was brave at school!" Dad is proud. Talking about feelings makes the "Bright" colors stay longer and the "Heavy" colors feel lighter.

Finally, Mai goes to Sleep. She learns about Inner Peace. She realizes that Every feeling is a friend who tells us something about ourselves. She realized that Your heart is a rainbow, and every color makes you special.

Mai’s emotional adventure is finished. She tells her teddy bear, "I have a rainbow inside me!" She realized that When you know your colors, you can paint a happy life. If you were a color today, would you be a "Bright Yellow" or a "Quiet Green"?
