A Special Dinner for Mom
Alex and his dad team up to make mom’s favorite soup, turning the kitchen into a fun, messy adventure. Along the way, Alex learns the joy of helping out and making his family smile, discovering that love and laughter make everything special.
Alex was a happy 6-year-old boy who loved playing video games. Beep, boop! His games were fun, but chores? Not so much! Today was different. Mom wasn’t feeling well, so Dad said, “Alex, let’s make Mom’s favorite soup and surprise her"
Alex nodded, excited. They grabbed vegetables, flour, and a big pot. “Let’s get cooking!” said Dad.
Whoosh! Flour flew everywhere! Alex giggled as he tried to help. “Oops!” he said, dropping a carrot. Dad laughed, too. Cooking was messy, but it was also so much fun!
When the soup was ready, Alex helped set the table. He placed plates, forks, and glasses just like Mom always did. “This looks nice!” he said proudly.
“Dinner time!” Dad called. Lily joined them, and they all sat down. Alex felt proud. The soup was delicious, and the family shared stories and laughs.
After dinner, Alex and Dad made a surprise for Mom. Knock, knock! They carried a tray with soup and a flower.
“For you, Mom!” Alex said. Mom’s eyes sparkled. “Thank you, Alex,” she said. “This is the best surprise!”
Mom gave Alex a big hug. “I’m so proud of you!” she said. Alex grinned. He learned that helping out was fun and made the family happy. “I’ll help more often!” he promised.
