Max wore his baker hat, proud and neat. “We’re baking something warm and sweet!”

He tapped the bowl, then tapped his head. “Let’s make some yummy ba-na-na bread!” Ba-na-na bread! *Clap Clap Clap Clap* 4 syllables!

“Start with an egg,” said Max with cheer. He clapped once loud for all to hear. Egg! *Clap* 1 syllable!

“Now add but-ter!” Max gave a grin. Max clapped but-ter and tossed it in! But-ter! *Clap Clap* 2 syllables!

"Get the ba-na-nas!" Squish, mash, spread! “Let’s clap those beats,” Baker Max said. Ba-na-na! *Clap Clap Clap* 3 syllables!

"Su-gar comes next, white and sweet. Clap the beats and then repeat!" Su-gar! *Clap Clap* 2 syllables!

“Now pour the mix and tap the tray. The ba-na-na bread is on its way!”

The oven ticked, the kitchen danced. The sweet, warm smell had Max entranced. Max clapped de-li-cious *Clap Clap Clap* 3 syllables!

Egg, but-ter, su-gar sweet, Mash the ba-na-na, what a treat!

Max took a bite, and then said "Yum! Syllables make baking fun!”
