LULU GOES TO THE LIBRARY
Lulu the bunny loved stories. She wanted a new adventure today.
“Hop, hop, hop,” went Lulu. She was going to the library!
The library was in the middle of the town. It was big and full of books!
“Wow!” said Lulu. “So many books to read!”
She hopped to the first shelf. It was full of fairy tales!
“Once upon a time…” Lulu whispered. But the book was too heavy!
A kind librarian, Mrs. Owl, came by. “Do you need help, little one?”
“Yes, please!” said Lulu. “I want to find the perfect book.”
Mrs. Owl flapped her wings. “Follow me, dear. I know just the shelf.”
They passed books about dinosaurs. “ROAR!” Lulu giggled.
They passed books about space. “Zoom, zoom, zoom!” she whispered.
Then they found books about animals. “Perfect!” Lulu clapped her paws.
She picked a book about brave bunnies. “Just like me!” she said proudly.
She sat on a soft cushion. The pages opened like magic!
She read about castles, gardens, and friends. Every page was an adventure.
Soon, other children came. “Can we read with you?” they asked. “Of course!” said Lulu. “Stories are better when shared.”
They read together. They laughed together.
They even whispered together, “Ssshh, we’re in the library!”
Mrs. Owl peeked in. “You’ve found the perfect book, haven’t you?” “Yes!” said Lulu. “And friends too!”
At last, it was time to go home. “Thank you, Mrs. Owl!”
Outside, the sun was setting. But Lulu’s heart was full of stories.
She cuddled into bed. Her book lay right beside her. “Tomorrow,” she whispered, “I’ll read another adventure.”
The more you read, the more adventures you’ll find. Just like Lulu, books can be your best friends!
