Barny, a grump, had a bad mood. He liked just odd, so he stood.

A lost bug. Bug, run home! Bug’s home was far. Far from loam.

Barny said, "One, three, five!" Bug did not move. Still alive.

Then a pup came. Pup, go home! Pup’s home was far. Far from foam.

Barny said, "One, three, five!" Pup did not move. Still alive.

A hen came by. Hen, go home! Hen’s home was far. Far from dome.

Barny said, "One, three, five!" Hen did not move. Still alive.

Barny felt sad. "No, no, no! Can I count more? Yes, I know!"

He said, "Two, four, six, eight!" Bug ran so fast. Not too late!

Pup ran so fast. Pup was glad!

Hen ran so fast. Not too bad!

Barny smiled big. Happy now! He can count all. This is how!
